A logo for Kate & Kyle
I created this logo for my own wedding. A tight timeline and long task list meant that things like invitations would be ordered before I had time for this, which made it more fun. Instead of going on formal correspondence, this logo would be going on 200 custom koozies for guests at our reception.
Working during the final weeks of wedding preparations meant that my sketches and other documentation would be misplaced in the blur of those days. Other pages of this site go into depth about my design processes, so here I'll just share a few pictures of the final product.
It turned out our names have a remarkable symmetry to them, and we both liked the idea of integrating a heart. Perfecting everything from the koozie-friendly dimensions to the curves that tie the K’s to the ampersand was a labor of love.
