About me

With a bachelor's in industrial design from Notre Dame and a master's in human-computer interaction from DePaul University, I've learned the fundamentals of 2-D and 3-D design from world-class teachers. Meanwhile, my 20-year career has brought real-world experience with everything from web design to logo design to furniture design, along with plenty of user outreach. And of course there was that year I managed a call center team—I didn’t get to do much design, but I promise it was never boring…

And outside of work?

I love to sing, bike on the lakefront, visit friends, and explore Chicago's never-ending treasure trove of restaurants. I'm a car guy, so you'll always find a Car & Driver or Motor Trend in my bag, and I love tinkering with A/V equipment. I enjoy trips back to Ohio to visit family, and the coolest places I've ever seen are Italy and Australia.

I'm blessed with a life surrounded by amazing people, and I try to always make a point of letting friends, family members, and coworkers know I'm interested in what they have to share.
