At the end of grad school, I built my first portfolio website using Squarespace, figuring their templates were the fastest way to get a polished site up & running. A few years later though, I found myself with considerably more experience designing and building web content, not to mention many new projects to show. It was time to create this website from scratch, and really tell my story my way.
What do I mean by“from scratch?” I mean that I wrote the text, shot and resized the images, and decided on everything from page hierarchy to navigation structure to layouts and fonts. I designed how each page would adapt to different screen sizes, using Bootstrap and custom CSS to execute my vision. I wrote the HTML that makes this site run, and set up the web hosting that keeps it running.
So pick a page—any page. Like what you see? Need a website? Let’s talk.
